What is unakite stone?

Unakite is a metamorphic rock primarily composed of green epidote, pink feldspar, and clear quartz, often appearing as a mottled pink and green stone. Named after the Unaka Mountains where it was discovered, it's sometimes called epidote or epidotized granite. Valued in the jewelry and carving industries, unakite is also used in lithotherapy (crystal healing) for emotional balance, compassion, and promoting transformation and spiritual growth.
